In this article, we will explain to you how you can get paid online by uploading payment barcode/QR code or payment URL/link.
Barcode/QR code: You can upload Barcode/QR code image. This Barcode/QR code image will appear on Invoice PDF. If its a generated Barcode/QR code for payment then your client can scan that Barcode/QR code and pay you online.
Payment URL/link: You can copy-paste generated payment URL/link from your banking application or from any payment gateways like Paypal, Razorpay, etc. This will create a clickable Pay Now button with a clickable link on the PDF. Due to which you would get paid online.
Note that when your client makes online payment for an Invoice using Barcode/QR code or payment URL/link then the payment status of that Invoice will not change to Paid automatically. You need to change the payment status of that invoice to Paid manually. To know more about how to change the status of invoice from Unpaid to Paid and vice versa click here

Barcode/QR code
To upload barcode/QR code follow the below given steps:
- From side menu bar go to Settings -> Customization -> PDF Customization
- Click on Body -> Payment Details
- If Barcode/QR code is in Hide state then click on Hide named toggle. Hide state will change to show state.
- The page will get scrolled down and the location where you need to enter the footer text will highlight in yellow color.
- Click on that location to upload the payment Barcode/QR code.
- Click on Browse button of Payment Barcode/QR code.
- Select Barcode/QR code image from your computer.
- Click on the Upload button.
- You can also upload the image by clicking on Edit button next to Show toggle of Barcode/QR code.
- After uploading the image click on red colored Save button available at the top next to back arrow button.
- Now go to an invoice and preview its PDF. You will see your uploaded Barcode/QR code image.

Before sending Invoice PDF to your client please check whether the Barcode/QR code is getting scanned or not from Invoice PDF using any barcode/QR code scanning application.
Payment URL/link
- From side menu bar go to Settings -> Customization -> PDF Customiation
- Click on Body -> Payment Details
- If Payment URL is in Hide state then click on Hide named toggle. Hide state will change to show state.
- The page will get scrolled down and the location where you need to insert payment url will highlight in yellow color.
- Click on Pay Now
- Copy Paste generated payment URL/link in Edit Payment URL popup
- Click on Right/tick-mark button of the popup.
- If you want to view if the URL is working or not just click on Pay Now and then click on Test link button.
- Click on red colored Save button available at the top next to back arrow button.
- Now go to an invoice and preview its PDF. You will see a Pay Now button. Your client will get redirected to that link when he will click on the Pay Now button on Invoice PDF.
