Enable Item code field and Change its label text

In following article we will discuss with you about how you can enable item code field and change its label text. 

You can Enable Item code field and change/rename its label text to SKU, ASIN, ISBN, MPN, UPC, EAN, GTIN or another standard reference code for your items as per your need.

Following are the two ways to do it:

iOS and Android

From Preferences

  • From side menu tap on Customization under Settings.
  • Tap on Preferences.
  • Tap on Item code.
  • Tap on Yes.
  • Tap on Save.
  • Now to change the label text of item code field to SKU, ASIN, ISBN, MPN, UPC, EAN, GTIN or another standard reference code go to Items from side menu.
  • Tap on any saved item.
  • Tap on Edit
  • Tap on icon of Code No. field below Description field.
  • Now enter label text that you want for example SKU, ASIN, ISBN, MPN, UPC, EAN, GTIN, etc.
  • Tap on Save.
  • Enter the its value/unique code number.
  • Tap on Save.

Web and Mac

From PDF Customization

  • From side menu click on Settings -> Customization -> PDF Customization
  • Click on Body -> Table Columns
  • Click on Code No. Hide named toggle to change it to Show
  • Set a position of item code by selecting Show in description or Show in Column.
  • Click on Edit button to change the label text.
  • A popup will open in PDF view. Enter the label that you want for example SKU, ASIN, ISBN, MPN, UPC, EAN, GTIN, etc.
  • Click on check/tick mark button on popup.
  • Click on Red colored Save button available at the top.

From Preference

  • From side menu click on Settings -> Customization -> Preferences
  • Click on Item Code.
  • Click on Yes.
  • Click on Save
  • From side menu click on Items.
  • Open/edit any saved item.
  • Click on Code No. field below Description field.
  • A popup will open. Now enter label text that you want for example SKU, ASIN, ISBN, MPN, UPC, EAN, GTIN, etc.
  • Click on Save of the popup.
  • Enter the its value/unique code number.
  • Click on Save.
