Add Footer / Disclaimer

In this article, we will explain you more about how you can add Footer/Disclaimer. So that it appears on Invoice/Estimate/Purchase Order PDF.

Information

This feature will add Footer/Disclaimer at the end of PDF. The Footer/Disclaimer is shown on every page at the end of the PDF.

For setting default footer text for Estimate, Purchase Order and Credit Note you will need to use Professional Invoicing website or mac app.

Please refer the Web and Mac section below to get the idea on how to set footer text.[/ht_message]

iOS

  • Tap on   to open side menu.
  • Under Settings tap on  PDF Options
  • Tap on  Footer / Disclaimer
  • Enter text that you want inside text field.
  • Tap on Show on PDF toggle if you want that entered text to appear on PDF.
  • Tap on  Save.
  • Now open an Invoice and preview its PDF. You will see the footer text at the end of PDF.

Web and Mac

  • From side menu bar click on  Settings ->  Customization -> PDF Customization.
  • Click on Footer.
  • If Footer Text is in Hide state then click on Hide named toggle.
  • The page will get scrolled down and the location where you need to enter the footer text will highlight in yellow color.
  • Click on that location to edit the footer.
  • If it is in Show state then click on Edit button next to Show toggle of Footer Text.
  • After entering the footer text click right/check button.
  • After making all the footer changes click on red coloured Save button available at the top next to back arrow button.
  • Now preview the PDF of the document you will see the footer text at the end.
Set different footer text for each document

You can set different default footer text for each document (Invoice, Estimate, Purchase Order, Credit Note) just by going to there respective tabs and editing there footer text.
