Use of Adjustments field | Change Adjustments/Grand Total label text from document

In this article, we will explain to you more about what is the use of adjustments field and how you can change the Adjustments/Grand Total label text.

Use of Adjustments field

Adjustments helps you to round off the Grand Total. Add any +ve or -ve charges that need to be applied to adjust the Grand Total Eg. +10 or -10.

iOS and Android

Insert value of Adjustments field

  • Open an Invoice.
  • If you are not able to see Adjustments field above Grand Total field then you need to enable Adjustments field from Preferences. For more info on Preferences click here.
  • Now that you have enabled Adjustments field you can see it above Grand Total field.
  • Tap on the button of Adjustments field located on the right side. You can insert any positive (+ve) or negative (-ve) value to adjust the Grand Total.
  • Tap on Save.

Change Adjustments/Grand Total label text

  • Open an Invoice 
  • Tap on Adjustments field/Grand Total field label’s icon .
  • Insert the text of your choice like Additional Charges for Adjustments and Invoice Total for Grand Total.
  • You can tap on check box Set as default, if you want this Label text to appear on future documents that you will be creating after this. This will not have any effect on old documents.
  • Tap on Save.
  • You can also set default label names for Adjustments and Grand Total from Preferences. For more information on Preferences click here.

Web and Mac

Insert value of Adjustments field

  • Open an Invoice.

  • Now that you have enabled Adjustments field you can see it above Grand Total field.
  • Click on the button of Adjustments field located on right side. You can insert any positive (+ve) or negative (-ve) value to adjust the Grand Total.
  • Click on Save.

  • Open an Invoice 
  • Click on Adjustments field/Grand Total field label.
  • Insert the text of your choice like Additional Charges for Adjustments and Invoice Total for Grand Total.
