In this article, we will explain you more about how you can setup an email account in mail app on your iOS and android.
iOS
- In an Invoice when tapped on icon for sending invoice via email, if you receive this kind of message like Please setup your mail account to use email feature then it seems that you have not setup email account in your mail app.
- To solve this issue go to phone Settings.
- Tap on Mail.
- Tap on Accounts
- Tap on Add Account
- Select one of the options from the list (icloud, Exchange, Google, Yahoo,Aol, Outlook.com, other). In below gif we have used gmail.
- Enter your email and tap next
- Enter password and tap on next.
- Tap on save. Account setup is complete.
- Now go to Professional Invoicing app.
- Open an invoice that you want to send via email.
- Make sure that a client is assigned to that invoice.
- Tap on .
- Mail app will open you can edit To: field as per your choice.
- Tap on send.
Android
- To setup email account tap on Gmail app.
- Tap on Add Account.
- Select one of the email options from the list (Google, Outlook, Yahoo, Exchange and Office365, Other). We have used gmail in below GIF.
- Enter email and password
- Follow the instructions as on your mobile screen.
- Your email account is setup is complete.
- Now open Professional Invoicing app.
- Open an invoice that you want to send via email to your client.
- Make sure that a client is assigned to that invoice.
- Tap on .
- Select Email app from apps popup.
- Email app will open, you can edit To: field as per your choice.
- Tap on send icon button (plane).
