In following article we will explain more about how you can set a date format and default payment term for entire application.
iOS and Android
From Preference
- From side menu tap on Customization under Settings.
- Tap on Preferences.
- Tap on Due Date.
- Tap on Yes option of Do you use Due Date?
- Tap on yes option of Do you use Payment Term. e.g. Net 15?
- Select a payment term from Payment Terms drop down.
- Tap on Save.
- Now create an Invoice. You will see the displayed due date is calculated according to set payment term.
Web and Mac
From Preferences
- Click on Settings -> Customization -> Preferences
- Click on Due Date.
- Select a Date Format from the drop down.
- Click on Yes option of Do you use Due Date?
- Now to set default payment term, click on yes option of Do you use Payment Term. e.g. Net 15?
- Select a payment term from Payment Terms drop down.
- Click on Save.
- Now create an invoice. You will see the displayed due date is calculated according to set payment term.
- All the dates displayed in the application will be displayed according to set date format.
From PDF Customization
- Click on Settings -> Customization -> PDF Customization
- Click on Body -> Date
- Select a date format of your choice from Date Formats drop down.
- If due date is in Hide state then click on Hide named toggle to change it to Show.
- Click on Hide named toggle of Terms to change it to Show.
- Click on Edit button of Terms
- A popup names Edit Terms will open in PDF View.
- Select a payment term from drop down and click on check/tick mark button of the popup.
- Click on red colored Save button available at the top.
- Now create an invoice. You will see the displayed due date is calculated according to set payment term.
- All the dates displayed in the application will be displayed according to set date format.
